We are representing our client (A Technology Service Provider) to look for an experienced Project Manager to complement their team.  The Project Manager shall supervise the IT infrastructure team and manage all service delivery related processes. Serves as the service delivery owner and to ensure that the operation of IT infrastructure service delivery team meets defined KPIs.

Responsibilities: –

  • Handling end to end IT infrastructure service delivery across all customers or projects.
  • Managing IT Incident, Problem, and change management processes across various customers.
  • Being the point of escalation for IT infrastructure support organization during Critical incident events. Managing stakeholder expectation and understanding business needs in the event of incident escalation.
  • Supervises direct reports in IT infrastructure engineers with responsibility for hiring, discipline, performance      evaluations, assignments, workflow, deliverables, and staffing.
  • Provide guidance to team in resolving technical  problems dealing with IT infrastructure issues in a timely and courteous manner. Problem resolutions made available as a “lessons learned” resource to other team members
  • Provides project management to support broad scope IT implementations and projects. These projects could include migration to cloud services, new servers, or rolling out new technologies
  • Supervises the deliverables team and prioritizes their work in all projects or maintenance contracts
  • Assists bid and solutioning team in formalizing service delivery scope and costing
  • Assists the Head of Services with the creation and implementation of new policies and procedures and other IT-related initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree inIT or related discipline.
  • Minimum five (5) years related job experience in an IT support or management role in infrastructure.
  • Interpersonal skills to build credible relationships  quickly.
  • Ability to work as an effective team member and collaboratively with other team members, including sales and presales team.
  • Ability to work on projects with moderate supervision to prioritize tasks, follow and meet established timelines, and follow budget constraints.
